Cyndi Lauper was the lastest contestant to be fired on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. No recap this week. She does think though that Bret Michaels has a good shot at winning. She tells digitalspy that he is a good contender to take the prize.

The singer, who was fired from the NBC competition on Sunday night, told reporters in a conference call that she thinks Michaels - who is playing for a diabetes charity - is a "very good contender" to scoop the prize.
"Bret lives with what is going on with him, as we all do. Everybody has their cause - I'm not diminishing anybody because I thought it was very moving to listen to everybody and their charities - but I think because of Bret's illness and the fact that he's recuperated and he's coming back, that kind of determination is pretty great," she explained.
Michaels - who is a diabetic - suffered a brain haemorrhage last month. He is currently undergoing rehabilitative physiotherapy and is expected to make a full recovery.
"I don't know. I'm a straight shooter. I don't do the behind-the-back thing so well," continued Lauper. "That's not who I am. I think that Bret has a pretty good shot at winning. Even when he wasn't there he really came back and tried hard and worked hard."
She added that she has not spoken to Michaels since he was taken to hospital, but said that she was "very concerned" when she heard the news and that her "prayers and good thoughts" are with him.
