ABC Cancels "All My Children" and "One Life To Live"

In recent news, ABC has made the shocking announcement that are planning to cancel not but two their daytime soaps, "All My Children" and "One Life To Live"   " All My Children" which stars one of the most popular soap actress Susan Lucci will air their last episode in September 2011 As for "One Life to Live" they will air their last episode in January of 2012. both soaps have been on the air for over 40 years. 

Both shows will be replaced with new shows called "The Crew and "The Revolution" which will deal with food/health. Fans have been really pissed off about the cancellation.  This is the 4th year in the row that a daytime soup has ended. Back in 2008, NBC's "Passions" ended its nine year run on Direct TV, CBS's "Guiding Light" ended its 72 run on the air followed by "As the World Turns in 2010 which also aired on CBS.  "The Young and The Restless", The Bold and The Beautiful", Days Of Our Lives and "General Hospital" will be the last four soups standing.
