Uganda Anti-Gay Bill Fails To Pass
Last week, it was announced that Uganda was going to pass am anti-gay bill where homosexuals would get the death penalty. It sparked outraged all over the world and a petition was launched to stop the bill. The petition succeeded with 1.6 million signatures delivered to Parliament, tens of thousands of phone calls to our own governments, hundreds of media stories about our campaign and a massive global outcry, Ugandan politicians dropped the bill.
