Was Lennon Lacey Lynched?
I think story needs more attention. Back on August 29th, a 17 year old teen name Lennon Lacey was found hanging on a child's swing set. His mother, Claudia Lacey, suspects that he was lynched because he was in a interracial relationship with a 31- year old white neighbor.
The teen had been dating a 31-year-old white neighbor. The age of consent in North Carolina is 16. Some people in their small, southern town did not like that the two were together. Lennon Lacey suffered from asthma and was told by doctors to exercise outdoors at night when the humidity level dropped. That night he headed out and never came home. The next morning, he was found hanging on a swing set covered in ants. His mother believes he was placed there after being strangled.
