EPISODE 9
"Dumb did us in"
Five teams remain.
Daniel and Jordan
Brent and Caite
Jet and Cord
Mike and Louie
Brandy and Carol
Teams find out they will be traveling from
Malysia > Singapore.
THEIR CLUE READS "CAUTION, U-TURN AHEAD"
All the teams arrive at Singapore and begin to take buses to go receive their clues.
On the bus, Dan and Jordan, Brent and Caite, and Louie and Mike discuss who they would return if they got the chance. Dan and Jordan are the other ones who said they wouldnt U-TURN Brandy and Carol.
At the first detour, the two options are performing a singapore Drum routine, or selling 25 ice cream sandwhiches.
ALSO, THERE IS A FAST FORWARD.
Daniel and Jordan decide to go to the Fast Forward, and attempt to skip to the finish line.
Teams work on the drums challenge.
Mike and Louie cant get the hang of it, and leave to see if anybody already went to the FF.
Brent and Caite are the first to finish the Detour, and get their clue.
Next, is the Cowboys.
Then Brandy and Carol.
Mike and Louie then arrive at the FF, and realize that Daniel and Jordan are Already there. They then go try and do the ice cream challenge.
Brent and Caite arrive at their next clue, and see the box for a UTURN. IMMEDIATELY , Caite takes out Brandy and Carol's picture and sticks it up there, u-turning them.
her reasoning was that "They are well traveled and a threat, and also Very rude".
So Brandy and Carol arrive and see they have been uturned. They are furious , attempting to call Caite ugly (wtf?) and turn around to go complete the OTHER detour they did not have to do.
By this time all the teams have arrived at the road block, which takes them no time at all.
Dan and Jordan completed their Fast Forward, and they got FIRST, being allowed to skip the detour and road block.
Teams then find out that in order to check in at the pit stop and be safe, they must go to "MEGA ZIP" and zipline down a large course.
Current standings
1st.) Dan and Jordan - SAFE
2.) Brent and Caite
3.) Jet and Cord
4.) Mike and Louie
5.) Brandy and Carol.
Brandy and Carol catch up TREMENDOUS time for being u-turned, and are right behind mike and louie.
Brent and Caite check in SECOND.
Jet and Cord check in THIRD.
Then its between Mike and Louie, and Brandy and Carol.
Mike and Louie check in FOURTH, and are still in the race.
Brandy and Carol check in, to find out they have been eliminated from the race.
They then go on to say there was no reason for them to be u-turned, but you did this to yourselves girls.
So the Current race standings going in the the FINAL 4 (one episode from finale)
1st) DAN AND JORDAN
2nd) BRENT AND CAITE
3rd) JET AND CORD
4th) MIKE AND LOUIE
5th) ELIMINATED - BRANDY AND CAROL.
the next episode will be in TWO WEEKS, not one.
My Thoughts :
This leg was VERY GOOD.
Dan and Jordan were smart doing the fast forward...they are a little bit less physically strong then some of the other competitors, and they are kind of the underdogs, so by completing the Fast Forward they basically got an automatic SAFE to the final 4.
Brent and Caite surprised me...it was to the point where they were in the bottom EVERY WEEK but they have really stepped it up . and i LOVE how Caite was so excited to U-turn brandy and carol because they deserved it.
Cowboys! Jet and Cord. I like them alot and im glad that brandy and carol got uturned because i was afraid the cowboys would, since they are very strong. They did consistent once again and did great.
Mike and Louie were kind of idiots this leg..like, they were already at the detour for like half hour..did they not think someone would have taken the oppurtunity to do the FF WAY earlier? Thats what lost them so much time.
Brandy and Carol...YES! They are out. I'm glad, to be honest. They were so conceited and thought they were so great.. they targetted the cowboys the whole time, they were snobby, they constantly made fun of Caite for no reason, and Karma came back and bit them in the ass.
Im really excited for the next episode..whichever team survives it, makes it the finale!
