Episode 4
This week, the Stars must either dance a Tango, or a Rumba
Also, this week is the DOUBLE SCORE SHOWDOWN.
meaning each couple will get TWO seperate scores.
one for technique, and one for performance.
A SUMMARY OF EACH PERFORMANCE
Erin and Maks performed the Tango.
I think that she took a step back this week...she wasnt as good as last week and it showed. With only 18 out of 30 for their performance they needed to kill on the technical side, but only got 21 for a total of 39.
Evan and Anna had their work cut out for them with Evan dancing on two broken toes. They danced incredibly, and their performance was on-key completely, as always. With 26 of 30 points for their technical score and then another 26 for the performance to total 52 out of a possible 60, they once again take a high score.
Niecey Nash and Louis chose the rumba, and they did good, just not as good as she could have. I felt like Niecy didnt do the best she has ever done, but it was just as good as last week...however the judges disagreed. Saying she looked stiff and tight. With only 18 points for technique it was going to be tough to dig out of the hole. When the performance score came back as only 18 as well, she took a nosedive to the bottom.
Aiden and Edyta then danced the Rumba.
With Edyta wearing what looked like a piece of tin foil to cover her body, and the technique just...off.. When the technical scores came in at only 15, and 18 for the performance, they actually managed to take over last. Their only hope at this point was most likely that Kate would be horrible.
Nicole and Derek then danced the Rumba. Once again, Nicole was amazing...well she is a pro dancer..isnt this dancing with the stars not with the professionals? oh well, as always she did incredible, and With 25 points for the technical side and a performance score of 25 giving them a total of 50 they should be very safe.
Jake and Chelsie then danced the Tango, and this week the judges said there was much more "passion". Jake’s posture was a little lacking, but it looked good. They got 19 for technique and another 19 for performance giving them a total of 38, and they needed a bit more after just being in the bottom 2.
Kate and Tony

then decided to dance the Tango. Prior to the dance it showed them in rehearsal, and Kate feeling the pressure from being the underdog the previous weeks getting the lowest scores, began to break down. When they performed, Kate actually did well! She for once articulated the moves good, and it looked as though she had the routine down. The Judges all agreed this was her best performance to date, and told her most improved. Giving her a technical score of 14 and a performance of 18, although it gave her the lowest score by 1 point, that was by far good for Kate.
Chad and Cheryl danced The rumba..they already seem to have a "connection" off the dance floor, so it was no shock they were getting into it. Cheryl also showed the cameras a ring that Chad had given her..holy shit. Something weird going on there. Chad did the best he had done yet, earning 21 for the technical side and 23 for performance totaling 44 total points they will definitely survive tomorrow night's eliminations.
Closing out the show was Pamela and Damien.
They danced the Rumba, and it was solid and good on technique, but there were some slips. But when Pam slips, its not as bad because she is so confident and loves what shes doing it helps her ALOT. Even Len agreed that she wore too much clothing, but this was her best dance of the season.
Tomorrow night is the elimination show.
MY PREDICTION: I predict that the bottom 2 will be Kate and Tony & Aiden and Edyta, with Aiden and Edyta going home. I think with Kate improving to gain the scores close to the pack, and with her fan support, I think Kate will be able to survive one more week..
We will see, tomorrow night.
