Episode 2 of The Bachelorette aired Monday night on ABC here is a recap of what happened. Chris gathers the remaining 17 men in the living room and tells them there will be one group date and two individual dates this week. But there's a catch - if they don't get a rose on the individual date, they will automatically go home. Ali and Frank head off in a convertible but don't get very far before the car stalls on the side of the freeway. They decide to get out and walk to Hollywood Boulevard before arriving at the Hollywood Sign.
Sitting underneath the landmark, Frank says that everything he does is based on gut feeling and that career is important but you only have "so many shots at love". They share a kiss. They later drink champagne overlooking the city at night. Ali hands Frank the rose and says that she likes the fact he isn't "normal" in a good way. Ali greets the guys at a Malibu beach house and springs a surprise on them - she wants them to pose in their bathing shorts for a charity calendar.
Jonathan is unsure of the tiny shorts that have been chosen for him. "Ali is wearing a black top, I think this was supposed to be the bottom!" he jokes. Ali poses alongside the men in some shots. Ty serenades her with the guitar before everyone poses for a group shot. The group later head to H.Wood, where Ty reveals that he is divorced. He says he has learned enough life lessons that he can be a great husband and he loves being married. Jonathan interrupts to warn Ali about Craig M, describing him as "dangerous" and itching for a fight.
Ali tells Justin - who is still walking with crutches - that she has a "good feeling" about him despite what the other guys might say. She says she likes him and she hopes he likes her too. The evening ends with Ali handing Ty the rose. Ali says that Jesse is "sexy" and she wants to see if they are compatible. She gifts him a pair of Neil Lane cufflinks to bring on the date. The pair board a private jet to Las Vegas before taking a Ferrari to a brand new pool that they have to themselves. They later meet for a black tie dinner at a suite with stunning views of Vegas.
Jesse chats about his hometown and career and Ali says that she feels "closer" to him afterwards. She thinks he is "attractive, sweet, solid and genuine" and hands him the rose before they head to a nightclub where they are serenaded in a private concert by Jamie Cullum. They end the date by dancing and kissing. Ali wants to spend time with the guys who didn't get a date and first up is Chris L who chats about his family, followed by Roberto. He says he has travelled the world and plays baseball, prompting them to embark on an impromptu game. Kasey is next, but is interrupted by Frank, who kisses her as the other men look on.
Jonathan still has problems with Craig M - who dressed in his clothes the previous days - and again warns Ali about him. Ali later tells Craig M that she isn't sure if he likes her and that he seems "uncomfortable" around her. She reveals that someone in the house called him "dangerous" but Craig M thinks they will click if they get a one-on-one date.Craig M calls the guys into the same room and asks who said that. He asks Jonathan if he wants to talk about it, but Jonathan says it doesn't matter who said it. Craig M takes that as an admission that he made the comment.
Jesse, Ty and Frank already have roses. The remaining roses go to: Kasey, Hunter, Roberto, Chris L, Justin, Steve, Kirk, John C, Craig R, Chris N and Jonathan.
