Daycare Worker Charged
A NY daycare worker name Athena Skeeter, who runs private daycare outside of of apartment, has been charged with manslaughter and child endangerment. The toddler's name is Cardell Williamson and according to Gotamist.com Athena Skeeter put the 20 month year old child in a bioiling hot bathtub after he threw up in his bed where he suffered severe burns. The 20-month year child died as a result of blood force trauma to his head and chest. She also says she wrestled with him " I flipped him on the bed. … I lifted him by one arm and one leg and threw him to the floor."
The father of Cardell Williamson says "When I used to ask her about the lumps and bumps on him, it was like she was nonchalant about it." Williamson said the toddler had been in Skeeter's care for five months"
