Dancing with the stars - Episode 5 recap

Niecy Nash and Louie Van Amstel Danced the Jive this week.

Niecy finished the jive with a big kiss on Len’s forehead. Len liked it and said Niecy finally put her personality into the dancing. Bruno said there was so much going on it was hard to focus. Carrie Ann said Niecy was the shimmy queen but the bottom half wasn’t as good as the top half.

Niecy said on behalf of big girls everywhere – “I’m tired and hungry – you need to vote for me.”

FINAL SCORE : 18/30

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke danced the Quickstep, to a tune from "The Jungle Book"

Bruno said dancing to Jungle Fever was too wild. Carrie Ann said the performance was uneven. Len said Chad’s posture improved and they did a pretty good job.

FINAL SCORE: 18/30

Erin Andrews with Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced the Jive to the movie, "Pulp Fiction"

Carrie Ann said they did better than the other couples. Len said it was a bit hectic but overall they did a great job. Bruno said Erin has that Uma magic and it was the best dance for Erin.

FINAL SCORE: 22/30

Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower
danced the ChaCha to the movie "Risky Business"

Len said it was well done – their best dance. Bruno said the energy was incredible. Carrie Ann loved the dance – she said Jake had the guts and the glory.

FINAL SCORE: 23/30

Pamela Anderson with Damian Whitewood danced the Quickstep to the movie "9 to 5"

Bruno said your characterization is always spot on. Carrie Ann said Pamela was fun to watch and they did a great job. Len said the balance was off but there was far too much messing around and not enough dancing.

FINAL SCORE: 21/30

Kate Gosselin with Tony Dovolani danced the Foxtrot to the movie "Breakfast Club"

Carrie Ann said she sees a bit of grace developing but not a great dance. Len said it was a stroll not a dance. It was neat and precise. Bruno said Kate was catatonic and there was no life in the dance.

FINAL SCORE: 15/30

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough danced the Tango to the movie "pretty woman"

Len said it was Nicole’s best dance and the best dance of the season. Bruno said, “Two players at the top of their game” bursting with sexual tension and it was perfection. Carrie Ann said the lines were beautiful. It was art.

FINAL SCORE: 29/30

Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya danced the Rumba to the movie "Armageddon"

Bruno said it was superb. Carrie Ann said the movement was beautiful. Len said it has artistry, musicality and they did a great job!!

FINAL SCORE: 27/30

The low score of the evening went to Kate and Tony with 15/30. The high score for the evening went to Nicole and Derek with Evan and Anna a close second with 27/30.

MY PREDICTIONS : I predict that the bottom will consist of Kate, Niecy, Jake...maybe Ochocinco, but i feel Niecy or Jake will go home.

Dancing with the Stars - Week 4 Results

WEEK 4

with only 9 couples left, the contestants waited to find out their results for week 4, seeing which couple would be eliminated.

The first two couples announced SAFE were Chad and Cheryl, and Jake and Chelsie (who were in the bottom 2 last week).

More couples were announced safe one after another, until the bottom four were

Erin and Maks
Kate and Tony
Niecy and Louis
Aiden and Edyta

Erin and Maks were then called SAFE.

The bottom 3.................

KATE WAS ANNOUNCED SAFE.

Therefore, the bottom two was Niecy and Louis, and Aiden and Edyta.

the couple eliminated was.....................

As I predicted, Aiden and Edyta.

they were the third couple sent home.

I knew this would be happening, and i am sorry but im happy because I love me some niecy and i was worried she would be leaving.

Next week is MOVIE week, that should be interesting .

Dancing with the Stars - Episode 4 Recap/Thoughts

Episode 4

This week, the Stars must either dance a Tango, or a Rumba

Also, this week is the DOUBLE SCORE SHOWDOWN.

meaning each couple will get TWO seperate scores.

one for technique, and one for performance.

A SUMMARY OF EACH PERFORMANCE

Erin and Maks performed the Tango.
I think that she took a step back this week...she wasnt as good as last week and it showed. With only 18 out of 30 for their performance they needed to kill on the technical side, but only got 21 for a total of 39.

Evan and Anna had their work cut out for them with Evan dancing on two broken toes. They danced incredibly, and their performance was on-key completely, as always. With 26 of 30 points for their technical score and then another 26 for the performance to total 52 out of a possible 60, they once again take a high score.

Niecey Nash and Louis chose the rumba, and they did good, just not as good as she could have. I felt like Niecy didnt do the best she has ever done, but it was just as good as last week...however the judges disagreed. Saying she looked stiff and tight. With only 18 points for technique it was going to be tough to dig out of the hole. When the performance score came back as only 18 as well, she took a nosedive to the bottom.

Aiden and Edyta then danced the Rumba.
With Edyta wearing what looked like a piece of tin foil to cover her body, and the technique just...off.. When the technical scores came in at only 15, and 18 for the performance, they actually managed to take over last. Their only hope at this point was most likely that Kate would be horrible.

Nicole and Derek then danced the Rumba. Once again, Nicole was amazing...well she is a pro dancer..isnt this dancing with the stars not with the professionals? oh well, as always she did incredible, and With 25 points for the technical side and a performance score of 25 giving them a total of 50 they should be very safe.

Jake and Chelsie then danced the Tango, and this week the judges said there was much more "passion". Jake’s posture was a little lacking, but it looked good. They got 19 for technique and another 19 for performance giving them a total of 38, and they needed a bit more after just being in the bottom 2.

Kate and Tony
then decided to dance the Tango. Prior to the dance it showed them in rehearsal, and Kate feeling the pressure from being the underdog the previous weeks getting the lowest scores, began to break down. When they performed, Kate actually did well! She for once articulated the moves good, and it looked as though she had the routine down. The Judges all agreed this was her best performance to date, and told her most improved. Giving her a technical score of 14 and a performance of 18, although it gave her the lowest score by 1 point, that was by far good for Kate.

Chad and Cheryl danced The rumba..they already seem to have a "connection" off the dance floor, so it was no shock they were getting into it. Cheryl also showed the cameras a ring that Chad had given her..holy shit. Something weird going on there. Chad did the best he had done yet, earning 21 for the technical side and 23 for performance totaling 44 total points they will definitely survive tomorrow night's eliminations.

Closing out the show was Pamela and Damien.
They danced the Rumba, and it was solid and good on technique, but there were some slips. But when Pam slips, its not as bad because she is so confident and loves what shes doing it helps her ALOT. Even Len agreed that she wore too much clothing, but this was her best dance of the season.

Tomorrow night is the elimination show.

MY PREDICTION: I predict that the bottom 2 will be Kate and Tony & Aiden and Edyta, with Aiden and Edyta going home. I think with Kate improving to gain the scores close to the pack, and with her fan support, I think Kate will be able to survive one more week..

We will see, tomorrow night.
