Texas College Bans Students From Countries That Have Ebola

One college in Texas is starting to ban students from several African countries that have Ebola cases. The college is located 60 miles from Dallas where the two workers have been diagnosed with Ebola and Thomas Duncan died from the disease.

The college has releases an apology statement saying:

"Our college values its diverse population of international students. This fall we have almost 100 students from Africa. Unfortunately, some students received incorrect information regarding their applications to the institution. "We apologize for any misinformation that may have been shared with students." -Wdbj7.com

This Ebola outbreak in the U.S is getting scarier. The Ebola Texas patient name Thomas Erica Duncan who became the first person to be diagnosed with disease from West Africa  has passed away today.

He traveled to Dallas to be with his girlfriend with whom he has a son with.

Reports his remains will be cremated. I feel like this Ebola disease is another huge distraction. Why all of a sudden this disease is an outbreak in many parts of the world when Ebola has been around for decades? and people coming in and out of Africa?

Has the Ebola disease reached the United States?  The government has confirmed the first ever  Ebola case in the states. Reports have come out today that a patient in Dallas, Texas has been positive for Ebola after arriving in Texas from West Africa. 

"At the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Tom Frieden said the patient left Liberia on Sept. 19, arrived the next day to visit family and started feeling ill four or five days later. He said it was not clear how the person became infected."
