M.I.A goes in at Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey

M.I.A goes in at Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey.  Oprah made a speech praising Lady Gaga at the Metropolitan Ball in NYC. Oprah goes to say that Lady gaga is helping Americans to be the best of themselves.

M.I.A had other thoughts, she says

“Is [it] about numbers? About how much you’re selling? Is it truly about the journey?,” she continued. “Because [Lady Gaga's] journey isn’t that difficult: to go from the f*cking Upper East Side to a f*cking performing arts school and on to a stage at the museum of f*cking wherever. That journey’s about four miles.”

Wow. That's kind of bitchy. I like M.I.A but who says that everyone's journey is the same? Just because she had more opportunity, doesn't mean that her journey is any less emotional.

I see what M.I.A is saying, but it's still bitchy and judgmental. Yeah Gaga's from a rich background, but a journey isn't always "Coyote Ugly".
