OFFICIAL: Steven Tyler is the new Idol judge

 With all the chaos that has been going with American Idol these past couple of months with Ellen leaving the show, Kara being fired, JLO being let go.

Steven Tyler, the frontman of Aerosmith will be one of the new judges. He has signed a contract for the 10th season of the show and filming starts in September.

FOX has yet to make the official announcement.
