This August will be a decade since R&B singer Aaliyah died in that tragic plane crash after shooting her music video for "Rock The Boat" but people wonder how her career would have turned out? Well, singer Gunuwine says that Aaliyah and Beyonce would have been rivals if Aaliyah was alive.
"If you're talking triple threat of a writer, singer and actress, that would probably be Beyoncé. If Aaliyah were still here, she and Beyoncé would be neck and neck."
Aaliyah's acting career just took off shortly before her death. Her acting debut Romeo Must Die was released in 2000 and Queen Of The Damned was released after her death. She also signed on to the Matrix sequels, Honey and the remake of Sparkle which never took off.
