Rachel Dolezal's Parents Debunks Her TODAY Show Interview Responses

Rachel Dolezal Speaks Out

Rachel Dolezal is speaking out for the first time in exclusive interview she did with Matt Luar on the TODAY show about her racial identity. She has been a hot topic since last week when her white parents outed her as a white woman.

In the interview she says that she 'Identifies herself as black' and when she was five-years old she colored a portrait of herself with a brown crayon instead on a peach crayon . She also revealed that sued Howard University because of she felt like she discriminated against as a pregnant white woman.

Her parents are now coming out and debunking her interview. Her mother tells Inside Edition that she identified herself as black and there were no drawings of her with a brown crayon.

"Rachel never indicated as a young child that she identified as a black girl. There were no drawings with the brown crayon. None of that exists in reality."
