It' almost exactly a month from tomorrow that Sandra Bland made national headlines when she was pulled over in Texas for failing to turn on her blinker and then got arrested after she refused to put out her cigarette. More has come out about Brian Encinia who is the officer who arrested her July 10th of last month.

New documents obtained by the Associated Press, he was given a an unwritten counseling for unprofessional conduct during an incident at a school last fall of 2014
"In the future, Trooper Encinia should conduct himself at all times in a
manner that will reflect well upon himself, the Department, and the
State of Texas. This supervisor will ensure that this is done by meeting
periodically with Trooper Encinia."
